Athena Frangouli | President

 

Athena Frangouli is a speech therapist (PhD). She is President of the Society of Social Psychiatry and Mental Health and as President of the Institute of Mental Health for Children and Adults. She did postgraduated studies in Social Psychiatry in the Medical Faculty of University of Ioannina. She is regular member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, founding member of the PanHellenic Association of Speech Therapists and the PanHellenic Union for the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Professional Reintegration. She served as President of the Confederation of European Firms, Employment Initiatives & Cooperatives for Psychically Disabled (CEFEC) and the Temporary Administrative Committee for the establishment of Social Coperatives with limited liability Federation.


 

• Panayotis Gkegkios | Vice-President

Panayiotis Gkegkios is Notary Public in Athens.

 


 

•Antonis Parios  Secretary

Antonis Parios is a Social Worker, Couple and Family Therapist and Addiction Advisor. He has worked with Society of Social Psychiatry and Mental Health for more than eight years in the Mobile Unit of Psychiatric Care at the Prefecture of Fokida and participated in the de-institutionalization and psychosocial rehabilitation of chronic patients of public mental health hospitals. For two decades he has worked with the Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals (KETHEA) heading the department of family therapy, while developed therapeutic methods with the family or the couple being involved in the rehabilitation process targeting the increased effectiveness of the treatment. In 2011, designed and operated the “1114” gambling problem helpline. Trained in the psychoanalytical and systemic approach. From 2004 he works as family and couple psychotherapist. He is an accredited member of ΕFTA (European Family Therapy Association), E.A.C (European Association for Counseling), Institute group analysis and family psychotherapy, IC&RC (International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium)-Addiction Consultant.

 

He has been member of the Board of Directors in many mental health organizations and has served as a member of the Hellenic Gaming Commission in the Greek Ministry of Finance. He has published articles in many scientific journals.


Aikaterini Mylonopoulou | Treasurer

Aikaterini Mylonopoulou has extensive experience in administration and the implementation of European projects about de-institutionalization, pro-vocational and vocational rehabilitation of people with psychosocial problems. She participates as a Board member at the European Network of Mental Health Organizations “ASKLEPIOS” and in Mental Health Europe (MHE), an umbrella organization that represents associations, organizations and individuals active in the field of mental health and well-being in Europe.


 

Miltos Livaditis | Member

 

Miltos Livaditis is a graduate of Medical, Political and Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is an honorary doctor in the same university and holds an MA degree in Applied Criminology from the University Paris V-Rene Descartes. Mr Livaditis got specialty as a neurologist-psychiatrist and practiced as psychiatrist for decades. He was Professor in Social Psychiatry in Democritus University of Thrace where he holds the title of Emeritus Professor since 2013. Mr Livaditis wrote two monographs, he was editor in various publications and contributed in collected scientific papers, while has published about 70 scientific articles in Greek and foreign scientific journals.
