We are happy and excited to announce that the program Living and Learning Together – Awareness, Prevention of Mental Disorders and strengthening of mental resilience in school communities, has been recognized as a good practice within the framework of the EU policy on mental health and well-being (mental health in all political priorities) and the strategic plan of the European organization Mental Health Europe If not now, when? Mental Health Europe’s Strategic Plan.
Despina Katsouda, partner of the SSP P. Sakellaropoulos, and scientific manager of the program, presented the program at Mental Health Europe’s online event, Supporting the Mental Health & Wellbeing of Young People in Formal Education– Sharing good practices in Europe, which took place on the 29th of November.
The program is implemented systematically bythe SSP P. Sakellaropoulos, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Institute of Educational Policy, and will be displayed in the library of good practices on the platform of the HPP Thematic Network “Mental Health in all Policies” More: DG SANTE Health Policy Platform.
The HPP Thematic Network ‘Mental Health in all Policies’ is led by Mental Health Europe and is open to stakeholders within and outside the health sector, with the aim of sharing knowledge and providing policy recommendations on how to develop (or expand existing) mechanisms and approaches for integrated policies and actions for the promotion and protection of mental health.
