CHILDfront – Child Friendly Justice in the Greek and Cypriot Courts<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Society of Social Psychiatry P. Sakellaropoulos is participating as a partner in the EU co-funded project \u201cCHILDfront – Child Friendly Justice in the Greek and Cypriot Courts\u201d.<\/p>\n

The project is coordinated by the\u00a0Centre for European Constitutional Law<\/a>\u00a0in cooperation with the\u00a0Society of Social Psychiatry P. Sakellaropoulos<\/a>, the\u00a0Cyprus Family Planning Association<\/a>,\u00a0Save the Children Italy<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Centre for the Study of Democracy<\/a>\u00a0in Bulgaria, and is actively supported by the\u00a0Ministry of Justice Greece<\/a>, the\u00a0National School of the Judiciary of Greece<\/a>\u00a0and the Cyprus Supreme Court, which hosts the\u00a0School for Judicial Training<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The project focuses on the two EU member states with the lowest scores in this area in the EU, according to the 2020 Justice Scoreboard, namely Greece and Cyprus, and engages partners also from Bulgaria and Italy. To fulfil its objectives, the\u00a0Child\u00a0Front\u00a0project will involve multilateral exchanges of good practice, and interdisciplinary, cross-border training for 235 judges and prosecutors and 8 trainers, through a state-of-the-art interdisciplinary training curriculum, developed based on good practices.<\/p>\n

The project is co-funded by the European Union.<\/p>\n
