Set up and run by Europe\u2019s largest independent mental health NGO Mental Health Europe (MHE), the\u00a0<strong>fourth edition<\/strong>\u00a0of the European Mental Health Awareness Week takes place this year from\u00a0<strong>22 May until 28 May 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Mental health is universal and essential for thriving societies and the theme this year is\u00a0<strong>Mentally Healthy Communities<\/strong>. The goal of this year\u2019s Awareness Week is to increase understanding and learning about mental health in our communities, schools, workplaces, and at home so that everyone can thrive and flourish at every stage of life.\u202f<\/p>\n<p>Mental well-being is<strong>\u00a0universal and essential\u00a0<\/strong>for healthy communities, and vice-versa.\u202f\u202f\u00a0As with physical health, mental health can have its<strong>\u00a0ups and downs over a lifetime<\/strong>.<strong>\u202f<\/strong>\u202f\u00a0Young or old,<strong>\u00a0we all need better understanding, knowledge, skills and support\u00a0<\/strong>to take care of our mental health.\u202f\u202f\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why it is crucial to address<strong>\u00a0mental health across our communities<\/strong>, in schools, homes and workplaces.\u202f\u202f\u00a0Mentally healthy communities allow us to<strong>\u00a0thrive without fear of stigma or discrimination<\/strong>.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>#EuropeanMentalHealthWeek<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>European Mental Health Week 22-28 May 2023 The\u00a0European Mental Health Week\u00a0is a pan-European initiative that aims to raise awareness about the importance of mental health in our everyday lives.
