The Society of Social Psychiatry invites you to attend the FOSTER – Fostering Child-Friendly Legal Environments through Collaborative Networks e-learning course, available free of charge through the CECL e-learning platform
Interested participants simply need to create an account on the platform at https://cecl.edu.gr/ to gain access to the course.
The programme has been specifically designed for legal professionals and covers a wide range of topics, including:
- the principles of child-friendly justice,
- the rights of child victims of crime under international and European Union law,
- ethics and data protection,
- child developmental psychology and effective communication with children,
- trauma-informed approaches,
- and issues related to interdisciplinary cooperation.
In addition, the programme is open to professionals who work or collaborate with child protection services (social workers, psychologists, juvenile probation officers, child protection professionals, etc.), as well as educators, who can complete the programme and receive a certificate of successful completion.
The training is enriched with a variety of engaging learning resources, including videos, case studies, and interactive exercises, to support practical learning and real-world application.
The programme is offered in English, Greek, and three additional languages, allowing participants to complete the modules at their own pace according to their individual needs and preferences.
Participants who successfully complete the programme by 20 July 2026 will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion.
